Looking for a unique fantasy film the whole family can enjoy, during the holidays? Look no further than The Seeker: The Dark is Rising, adapted from the fantasy series of novels by Susan Cooper. The film is based on the story from the second novel in the series, The Dark is Rising.
On the eve of his 14th birthday, Will Stanton is going through some changes in his life. No, not puberty ... although he is smitten with a young girl he goes to school with, Maggie. Living in a rather large family, Will feels ignored for the most part. Even as his birthday approaches, only his younger sister, Gwen, and his eldest brother away in the Navy, remember his birthday. However, Will is about to discover that he is very, very special ...
Even the smallest of light ... shines in the darkness

The evil Damodar returns to unleash his vengeance upon the kingdom of Izmir, in SciFi Channel's Dungeons and Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God. Izmir's ancestors destroyed him and his power-hungry master, Profion, a hundred years earlier. Now he has scoured the lands to find the source of power to awaken Faluzure, the black dragon of destruction and decay. Word reaches Izmar, and it's former Captain of the Guard, Lord Berek and his beautiful young wife and talented Mage, Melora, who discover the slumbering monster within the belly of the mountains near Izmir.
From the ultimate evil comes the ultimate quest.

There's a new video game adapted to film in town, and it's name is Max Payne. Based on the infamous third person shooter, the film takes the storyline into a whole new level with Mark Wahlburg as Max Payne.
I don't believe in heaven. I believe in pain.
The plot appears simple enough ... N.Y. Detective Max Payne's family was brutally murdered several years ago, and he has been searching to find the killer or killers, during his off-duty hours. The only clue left behind (not sure if this is in the film ... this was in the game) is a big "V" painted on the wall with a syringe sticking out of it.
